Farmers are the food producer of our country, and most of the country’s income is dependent on the farmer’s produce, hence the farmer’s empowerment is also one of our key focussed area. We have conducted many activities where we support the farmers in adopting new methods of farming in agriculture, in modes of increasing their income and receiving help and support from various government schemes.

Adoption of new methods of farming

We have a network of around 3000 farmers whom we regularly guide on new methods of farming. These farmers were also provided training on two tier and three tier system of cropping and how through this they can increase their income .We also encourage them to use organic fertilizers and other agricultural methods. This resulted in increase in their income three times.

Formation of Farmer Producer Organizations

For the development of farmer entrepreneurs, we have formed farmer producer organizations where farmers are encouraged to do their own business activity like a company and distribute their profits. Currently we are running three farmer producer organizations in KhargoneDist, which are producing several products like Neem oil, neem cake, vermin compost, Mirchi Processing etc and selling them into the markets and earning good profits.

These producer organizations are encouraging farmers to become successful entrepreneurs.
